Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Manager (Transportation) for the 2nd shift in Brownstown, MI. The role includes lead­ing a logistics team, payroll duties, P&L responsibility, and close collaboration with customers to ensure service excellence.

You will manage performance, drive safety, and coordinate with senior management on profitability and process improvements. This is a full‑time, 2nd shift position within our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years managing and leading direct reports.
• Experience with transportation and/or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly employees; resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with management and customers to meet needs.
• Be responsible for payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and provide reports to leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor quotes, and invoicing.
• Hold safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety rules.
