Old Dominion Freight Line in White Pine, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep fleet operations running safely and efficiently. This role involves preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and timely repairs.

You will read precision instruments, perform troubleshooting, and comply with DOT/EPA/OSHA rules, with hands-on welding and tool use as needed. The position offers strong safety culture and opportunities for growth within a national network.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience with truck repair, body and frame repair.
• Must provide own tools to perform job duties.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (when required).
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Willingness to participate in training classes offered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Build, rebuild and repair all parts of company equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or other failures in trucks or tractor units.
• Read precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, digital multi-meters).
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on truck components and systems.
• Apply welding skills to complete truck repairs when applicable.
• Maintain safety and compliance with industry regulations.
