Forward Air is seeking a self-motivated Trailer Mechanic to join the maintenance team. This full-time position involves maintaining trailers, vehicles, and related equipment, while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends. You will use diagnostic instruments and hand tools, document repairs, and support a fast-paced operation in Galena, KS.

Qualificações

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Prior experience with truck, trailer, and/or vehicle repair preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate status of mechanical equipment and trailers.
• Perform minor trailer repairs and tire work.
• Operate a variety of diagnostic instruments and hand/air-driven tools.
• Maintain shop area, tools, and equipment; keep records up to date.
