Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking an Electronics Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic units used in aircraft systems. You will follow established test procedures, set up stands, and interpret results to support on-time aircraft maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with schematics and measurement tools, and the ability to work on 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 8:00 pm–6:00 am). A sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or technical training.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or engineering drawings.
• Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands.
• Configure equipment for special tests as needed.
• Record and interpret test results.
• Recognize and isolate test equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot to sub-assembly and component level.
• Read maintenance manuals, prints and schematics.
• Communicate work status to team and support staff.
• Write clearly and concisely in technical language.
• Utilize computer skills and software applications.
