Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking an Electronics Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic units and support aircraft maintenance operations. You will use test stands, read schematics and data sheets, and document results; shift 2nd (Mon-Fri 2:30 pm–11:00 pm) with a 60-day training period.

External candidates receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus; role includes stringent onsite requirements and FAA safety considerations as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or technical education with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading schematics, blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience with using multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands.
• Configure test equipment for special tests as needed.
• Interpret and record test results.
• Troubleshoot test equipment down to sub-assembly level.
• Read and interpret technical data and engineering prints.
