Job summary

Collins Aerospace’s Phoenix MRO facility is seeking an Electronics Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic components for aircraft. You will work on test stands, interpret technical data, and document results in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.

Shift: 3rd, 8:00 pm – 6:00 am, with initial training 6:00 am – 2:30 pm for ~60 days. Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience; familiarity with schematics, multimeters, and oscilloscopes is

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education acceptable.
• Experience reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Experience with using multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands and configure equipment for tests.
• Interpret and record test results; isolate equipment failures.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot to sub-assembly level.
• Read and interpret engineering prints, schematics, and component manuals.
• Communicate work status to teammates and support staff.
