Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor staff, manage staffing, and drive customer service and sales while upholding Meijer standards.

Responsibilities include staffing and hiring, succession planning, disciplinary actions, P&L accountability, and maintaining store appearance during peak hours. You will train teams and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) and customer service flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clear and precise direction to team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts by addressing root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Successful completion of all required certifications.
