Job summary

Bigelow Tea Co. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Night Shift Tearoom Attendant to ensure proper tea is dumped and issued by flavor and shop order. You will perform machine changeovers between shop orders and support production teams on the tearoom floor.

The role requires the ability to learn computer-related tasks, operate forklifts, and handle up to 50-100 lb bags. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn computer related work requirements.
• Ability to learn proper operation of forklift and pass required driving examination.
• Certified to operate power material handling equipment (Fairfield).
• Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs. bags (with assistance from lifting equipment).

Responsibilities

• Feed tea to hoppers according to production schedules and shop orders.
• Read production reports and requisitions.
• Maintain acceptable levels of tea in hoppers and ensure proper flavor.
• Refer to shop order packet to maintain required quantities and type of raw materials.
