Job summary

Bigelow Tea is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for the night shift in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include setting up and repairing production machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting packaging lines on a tight night schedule.

You will read manuals, log maintenance actions in CMMS, and ensure equipment meets QA standards while following GMP and safety rules. Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging line mechanical equipment repair or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production equipment.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance reports and log entries.
