Job summary

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a vocational or military course in surgical technology or certification as a surgical technologist (NBSTSA/NCCT).
• Two years of Surgical Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical area for patient care and anticipate the team’s needs.
• Serve as primary preceptor for students and new staff.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic practices.
• Assist in organizing instrument trays and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth case flow.
• Document procedures and patient data per unit policy.
