Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician for Labor Delivery. This .6 FTE night shift (7pm–7:30am) includes two 12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHEP/ABHES-accredited surgical technology program and active NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT certification.
• Armed Forces or Public Health Service training program with 16 hours CE every 2 years.
• “Grandfathered” status for work in ASC/hospital/government with 16 hours CE every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and team during procedures with sterile technique and proper instruments.
• Provide direct patient care and support to optimize surgical outcomes and teamwork.

Education

CAAHEP/ABHES surgical technology program with NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT certification

Armed Forces/Public Health Service training + 16 hours CE biennially

Grandfathered experience in ASC/hospital/federal agency with CE
