Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician to join Labor Delivery on a .6 FTE night schedule (7pm–7:30am, two 12‑hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends). The role includes direct patient care, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining sterile technique.

Night shift differential is $4.50 per hour; extensive benefits and retirement options are available. Pay range listed as $33.17 to $50.74 per hour, with base pay and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES and active certification NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT.
• Military or Public Health Service training with 16 hours CE every two years.
• Grandfathered based on ASC/hospital/federal experience with 16 hours CE every two years.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon and team with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
