Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician for Labor Delivery on a .6 FTE night shift (7pm–7:30am, two 12-hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends).

The role supports the surgical team, maintains sterile technique, and assists during procedures with sutures and instruments. Required qualifications include CAAHEP/ABHES accreditation with NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT certification or military/Public Health Service training with CE requirements, or grandfathered experience with

Qualifications

Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES and active NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT certification.
Military or Public Health Service Commissioned Corps training with 16 hours CE every two years.
Grandfathered status for those with qualified work experience in ASC, hospital, or federal agency and 16 hours CE every two years.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with the surgical team to optimize outcomes.
Assist surgeon and team with instruments, supplies, and sutures; maintain sterile technique during procedures.
