Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast seeks a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the Surgical dept. Location is Cape Girardeau, MO. The role supports patient care on a PRN basis with a 12-hour night shift (1830-0700).

A training pathway is provided if no prior experience is available. Required basics include a high school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program is acceptable, and BLS certification is expected within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience preferred for PRN status; if none, Mercy provides a 175-hour training program meeting Missouri DHSS requirements, to be completed within 90 days of hire.
