Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time night shifts (6:30pm - 7:00am) with weekend requirements. This role supports inpatient rehabilitation, including direct patient care and documentation, within a team dedicated to high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
• Licenses: Nursing Assistant Certificate Preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Performs specific documentation in the patient's record.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance.
• Communicates appropriate information intradepartmental and interdepartmental.
• Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.
