Job summary

Mercy Hospital Tishomingo is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for Med Surg PRN night shift 7p–7a. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist in individualized patient care and help the team deliver compassionate services.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to PCA competencies, and completion of BLS within one month of hire. Prior CNA/CPCT/EMT experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• CNA or CPTC certification preferred or current Mercy coworker.
• BLS within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/LPN direction, assist in individualized patient care.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks.
• Work cooperatively with the team to achieve patient wellness goals.
