Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift on the Surgical Unit-II at the Main Hospital in New Brunswick. The role requires NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 2+ years in Surgical/Med-Surg settings, with ADN required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing and current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required.
- At least 2 years of Surgical or Med/Surge RN experience.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) like EPIC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
- Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
- Partner with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care decisions.
- Educate patients and families to support informed care decisions.
- Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
