Job summary

Midwest Center for Youth and Families in Indiana seeks a Supervisor of Mental Health Technicians to oversee care during the overnight shift (11pm–7:30am) in a residential treatment setting for youth ages 10–18.

You will supervise milieu staff, ensure regulatory standards, and coordinate with leadership to support a DBT-based care approach. A Bachelor's in a behavioral health field and supervisory experience in residential treatment are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a residential treatment or behavioral health setting is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting is required.
• Must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care is delivered according to established standards of care and facility policies.
• Monitor and coach staff for policy and procedure adherence.
• Ensure unit compliance with Joint Commission and state regulatory standards and patient rights.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to improvement plans.
• Manage staff schedules and policy compliance; complete staff evaluations and training on time.
• Assist HR with interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff.
• Support staff morale and healthy work-life balance; address interpersonal issues.
• Provide education and training when clinical knowledge gaps are identified; orient new hires.
