Job summary

Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking a Supervisor for Mental Health Technicians who will oversee overnight shifts (11pm–7:30am) in a full‑time, non‑exempt role. The supervisor will ensure high‑quality care aligned with DBT practices and facility standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, four years in a residential or behavioral health setting, and at least two years of supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; four years in a residential treatment or behavioral health facility.
• Two years of supervision work experience required.
• Must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in line with established standards and facility policies.
• Supervise milieu staff and coach for policy and procedure implementation.
• Ensure regulatory and Joint Commission standards and patient rights are upheld.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to improvement plans.
• Manage staff schedules and policy compliance.
• Complete staff evaluations and training within specified timeframes.
• Assist HR with interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff.
• Promote healthy work-life balance and staff morale.
