Job summary

Compassion Care Group Residential Treatment Facility in Dayton, OH seeks a Day Shift Supervisor to lead daytime Behavioral Health Technicians in a youth residential program.

You will oversee shift operations, coaching, documentation quality, onboarding of staff, and performance development, while partnering with the Program Director to ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth ages 10–18.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years in residential youth services or similar.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong documentation, coaching, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and ensure safe supervision ratios.
• Coach staff in real time and conduct performance feedback.
• Oversee documentation quality and shift logs.
• Support onboarding and competency checks for new BHTs.
• Coordinate on-call coverage and weekend/holiday staffing.
• Act as day shift liaison with Program Director.
