Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks a Student Nurse Intern to support the Telemetry unit during night shifts. Under the direct supervision of an RN, you will assist with basic bedside care, document care in the EMR, and participate in the plan of care with your preceptor.

This role supports enrolled nursing students advancing through the program; requires enrollment in an accredited RN program and completion of specified semesters, with validated skills and ongoing certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; CNA preferred.
• Enrollment in an accredited RN program and progress through specified semesters.
• Submit updated transcript each term and notify HR of changes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with patient, family, and health care team to formulate plan of care.
• Under RN supervision, perform basic bedside care and assist with procedures.
• Document all care in the EMR promptly and accurately.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety and infection control policies.
