SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Structural Welder for the night shift at Massey's Test Site. In this dynamic role, you'll fabricate and repair structures that support the historic launches of Starship, working in a high-energy environment critical to our mission.

The ideal candidate requires 2+ years of experience with flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and a high school diploma. Further experience in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and knowledge of welding safety standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metallurgy.
• Understanding of safety precautions and occupational hazards.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding assignments for constructing and repairing structural stands.
• Cut, trim, or scarf metal objects to precise dimensions.
• Interpret engineering drawings to plan operations.
• Inspect welds to AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards.

Skills

Flux-cored arc welding (FCAW)
