Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Welder for Massey’s Test Site on the night shift. You will fabricate and repair rigid stands and structures that support Starship launches and tests, ensuring precision and safety in a high-energy environment.

Work under lead welders with responsibility for interpreting engineering drawings and complying with AWS/ASME codes. Responsibilities include executing welding tasks, cutting and fitting components, and maintaining quality while meeting mission-critical

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years FCAW welding experience required.
Knowledge of AWS/ASME codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute welding assignments for constructing and repairing site structural stands.
Fit and fabricate components to precise dimensions.
Interpret drawings and specifications to plan operations.
Operate welding and cutting equipment safely.
Visually inspect welds to standards (AWS D1.1/ASME B31.3).
Maintain licenses, permits, or certifications as needed.
Collaborate across teams to accelerate program goals.
Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
