Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear directions.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions and teach suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and drive customer service excellence.
• Ensure staffing, selection and hiring to meet store needs.
• Promote succession planning and development opportunities for team members.
• Manage P&L, drive sales, and minimize shrink while maintaining Meijer standards.
• Foster a safe, engaging, and compliant work environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store appearance during peak hours.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and interactions.
