Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to oversee sterile operations in a modular cleanroom, ensuring USP 797/800 compliance and safety. You will supervise staff, ensure quality, and align with state/federal rules.

The role involves training peers, documenting procedures, and collaborating with R&D on scale-up of new compounded products, with a night shift and differential pay. OH licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with sterile compounding experience, preferably from nonsterile starting components.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active Pharmacist License in Ohio.
• Strong knowledge of USP 797/800 requirements and best practices.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shift times.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
• Willingness to undergo ongoing external training.

Responsibilities

• Direct sterile compounding activities in compliance with USP 797/800.
• Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff performing aseptic manipulations.
• Document compounding procedures and QC checks for compounded sterile products.
• Review and approve materials used in sterile compounding.
• Oversee equipment and maintenance in sterile operations.
• Manage cleanroom workflow and environmental monitoring with QA.
• Collaborate with R&D on new compounded sterile preparations.
