Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician for a 13-week Sleep Tech role. The position involves 12-hour night shifts and care for outpatient and inpatient populations, with a 36-hour per shift expectation. A LA state license, BLS, and RPSGT or RRT-SD certification are required.

Expect pediatric to geriatric patients, electrode monitoring, PAP fittings, and documentation of baseline values. Independent work and scrubs attire are expected.

Qualifications

• LA state license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• RPSGT or RRT-SD certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year sleep lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PAP mask fittings for patients.
• Monitor electrodes, bands, thermistors and other probes.
• Document patient baseline values and sleep data.
• Assist with patient care from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Troubleshoot sleep equipment and maintain safety procedures.
