Cheney Brothers, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a Shuttle Driver for the night shift to transport empty trailers and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards in a safe, DOT-compliant manner. You'll work Sunday to Friday with average annual pay around $90,000.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, safe loading, accurate paperwork, and communication with customers and teammates. Qualified candidates hold a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and a DOT Health Card, and can lift up

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Willing to work 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks including pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; secure freight.
• Ensure route paperwork is available for dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes.
• Complete hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Park and store tractors and trailers in designated areas.
• Secure equipment and freight; manage damaged goods and returns.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor, dock area, and trailers.
