Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support our distribution network by transporting empty trailers to operating company warehouses and returning full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards in a safe, timely manner. Requirements include CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, a clean MVR, 21+ years old, and 12+ months of commercial driving experience.

Schedule is Sunday–Thursday with occasional Friday deliveries; DOT compliance and safety are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT health card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspects tractor/trailer to DOT standards.
• Drives and delivers trailers on predetermined routes.
• Maintains required route paperwork and logs hours of service.
• Unloads/loads as required and ensures security of freight.
• Performs other duties to support the shuttle operation.
