Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator. This role coordinates shipping documents, prepares export paperwork, and enters data into BAAN/SAP. A forklift license and 1+ year in admin or shipping/receiving are preferred.

The position is office-based with standard business hours; responsibilities include document control and supporting the logistics team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year experience in administrative support or shipping/receiving in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math, Pareto charts, bar graphs and flow charts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Prepare shipping documents including out-of-country shipments; maintain orderly file.
• Accurately and timely enter data into BAAN/SAP.
• Create plan shipment documents.
• Provide backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and others when assigned.
• Operate lift truck and obtain forklift license if not already held.
• Other duties as assigned.
