• One year of professional experience in social services preferred
• Previous experience working with low-income/at-risk/homeless individuals or vulnerable populations preferred
• Basic computer literacy including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn new software systems

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service to participants, volunteers, guests, and UMOM team members.
• Answer phone calls and transfer to the appropriate person or department.
• Provide answers about UMOM programs to participants, volunteers, guests, and UMOM team members.
• Assist with meeting basic needs and de-escalating crises as needed.
• Support donations, facility cleanup, and work orders.
• Monitor shelter safety and enforce program expectations.
