Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta Fab 8 site. You will monitor, sustain and improve equipment and processes, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on tool sets and troubleshooting issues to ensure manufacturing readiness.

Required are strong mechanical/electrical skills, ability to work in a 12-hour shift, and adherence to strict EHS policies. Prior experience in semiconductor environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 4+ years in relevant maintenance roles (electrical or mechanical) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and readiness for manufacturing."
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Work safely in FAB8 EHS&S policies.
