Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and repair complex production machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and rapidly repair equipment to minimize downtime, ensuring accurate calibration and safe operations.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance or 3-5+ years in semiconductor equipment, with ability to read schematics and work with vacuum, RF, and pneumatic systems. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance / troubleshooting experience (semiconductor preferred, but related high-tech manufacturing, industrial, or military acceptable).
• 3-5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience on specific tool platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level and read schematics.

Responsabilités

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Executing PM cycles, performing preventive inspections, and managing key consumables to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshooting and Emergency Response: Identifying alarms, diagnosing equipment status, performing RCA, and executing emergency repairs.
• Equipment Performance Verification: Checking key parameters, evaluating capability, and analyzing trends.
• Hardware Installation and Setup: Participating in equipment setup tasks and verifying correct positioning.
• Hardware Modification Management: Managing equipment-related changes and performing validations.
• Field Support and Patrol: Conducting line patrols to check for leaks and maintain a clean production environment.
• Equipment Data Analysis: Monitoring data to predict failures and maintain optimal operation.
