Job summary

Travis County Clerk’s Office of Security & Protection seeks a motivated Security Center Coordinator for the night shift to maintain high visibility, monitor security systems, and coordinate emergency responses. You will supervise staff, refine processes, and report to upper management across county facilities.

Responsibilities include incident reviews, policy implementation, and inter-agency collaboration. Requires an associate degree, 5+ years in security/dispatch, and CJIS/fingerprint

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in security, public safety or related field.
• Five years of related experience in security, business, or emergency and non-emergency notification services/dispatch.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must pass a criminal background check for CJIS clearance.
• Applicants must pass fingerprint background clearance.
• Preferred: prior military, law enforcement, security, dispatcher experience.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Center staff and manage night shift operations.
• Coordinate incident reporting and emergency notifications.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, alarm systems and analytics.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance and provide staff training.
