Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Supervisor for an on-site, night-shift role in Austin, TX. You will lead watch personnel, coordinate real-time incident response, and ensure clear communications across multiple sites.

This position requires strong leadership, incident-management skills, and experience with 24/7 security operations. The role emphasizes coaching, continuous improvement, and maintaining procedures while collaborating with EHS, facilities, and technical teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years in security operations or related 24/7 environments.
• Strong communication, accountability, and incident reporting.
• Experience with Genetec Security Center or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of IP networking and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned night-watch personnel; manage priorities, task allocation, staffing readiness, break coverage, and accurate shift turnover in a 24/7 operation.
• Oversee monitoring of physical security, intrusion, video, access control, and safety-related events across sites.
• Serve as the operational escalation point; lead incident bridges and response coordination.
• Coordinate with on-site security, EHS, facilities, and IT teams while respecting ownership of actions.
• Ensure timely, factual notifications and clear pass-downs; document decisions and actions.
