Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Security Operations Supervisor for our Austin, TX location. You will lead night-watch personnel in a 24/7 Security Operations Center, coordinating incident response and ensuring standard procedures are followed across multiple sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2–4 years in security/operational roles, with strong communication skills and experience in PSOC/GSOC environments. This is an on-site position with rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in security operations, network operations, emergency operations, access control, or a related operational support environment.
• Strong communication skills and accountability.
• Experience in a 24/7 environment such as PSOC/GSOC, Command Center, public safety dispatch, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned night-watch personnel; manage priorities, staffing readiness, break coverage, and shift turnover in a 24/7 operation.
• Oversee monitoring of physical security, intrusion, video, access control, and safety-related events across multiple sites.
• Serve as the operational escalation point; coordinate incident bridges and response for major incidents.
• Coordinate with on-site security, emergency services, EHS, and IT teams while respecting ownership of tactical response.
• Ensure timely, factual notifications and clear pass-downs for actions and decisions.
