Job summary

Premium Peanut is seeking a Night Shift Safety Trainer to support its evening and night operations. This role conducts safety training, orientations, and coaching, reinforces PPE rules, and maintains records.

The on-site position focuses on hazard identification, incident support, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, HR, and Food Safety teams. The ideal candidate has OSHA certifications and experience in manufacturing safety, with strong communication skills and bilingual abilities as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor degree in occupational safety, industrial technology, adult education, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in safety training or industrial safety, preferably in manufacturing.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification required; OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Experience presenting information in classroom and hands-on training settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety orientation and ongoing safety training for night shift employees.
• Deliver safety training through classroom, hands-on, digital, and jobsite coaching methods.
• Reinforce safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe-work practices.
• Perform routine safety observations, inspections, and audits during the night shift.
• Inspect elevated work areas up to 60 feet with fall-protection procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate concerns to supervision and Safety Department.
• Coach employees on proper PPE use and safe work practices.
• Assist with safety initiatives, corrective actions, and follow-up verification.
• Assist with investigations of incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate safety-training records and related documentation.
• Monitor training effectiveness and suggest content improvements.
• Support new-hire safety orientation and ongoing safety education.
• Serve as on-shift safety resource during night hours.
