Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for FT Nights on a 12-hour shift schedule. Under supervision, you will deliver respiratory care per orders, monitor ABGs, adjust therapies, and collaborate with providers, nurses and families to support patient outcomes.

The role requires an AS in Respiratory Therapy (BS preferred), Michigan RT license, and RRT within one year.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Respiratory Therapy required; BS preferred.
• Current Michigan RT License required.
• RRT credentials required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications expected; site requirements apply within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy per provider orders.
• Evaluate and respond to ABG results and patient status.
• Explain therapies to patients and families; adjust care per protocol.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff and therapists.
