Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the ACC/PICU, night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires an AS in Respiratory Therapy with Michigan licensure and RRT credentials within 1 year for hires after 2004.

ACLS, PALS, NRP and BLS certifications are required per site policy. Responsibilities include providing respiratory care, evaluating blood gases, and communicating results to the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan.
• Must maintain certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP) per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per provider orders and protocols.
• Evaluate blood gases and adjust therapies.
• Communicate findings to providers and nursing staff.
• Assist with life support and codes as needed.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment and patient transport.
