Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. You will collaborate with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as a resource for the care team.

This full-time, night-shift role involves NICU rotations and training on assigned units. A strong background in critical care and an RRT credential is preferred, with ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC.
• PALS certification required for ER personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned, including NICU rotation.
