Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders. Night shift, full-time 36 hours weekly, with NICU rotation.

The role requires RRT credential (NBRC) or eligibility and a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license, plus ACLS/PALS as appropriate; prior critical care experience is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and supportive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP).
• RRT NBRC credential; PALS for ER.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Train on and be assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis.
