Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care across respiratory services, operating under physician orders. The role involves collaborating with physicians to assess therapy effectiveness and acting as a resource for the medical team.

Qualified candidates include those with CoARC-approved training, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credentials; ACLS/PALS may be required in ER. Position includes night shift and training in NICU rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential from NBRC required; PALS may be required in ER.
• Physical demands: push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs; kneel and crawl as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in all respiratory care aspects per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Rotate to NICU on a rotating basis.
