Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT credential is required.
• RRT/RCP-State credential required.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airway evaluation.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, medications, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive/noninvasive methods.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment and ensure infection prevention standards.
