Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage airway and ventilation, and support care teams across emergency, critical care, and acute settings to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RRT/RCP-State licensure or eligibility.
• BCLS Instructor certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Provide oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance and other therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards.
