Qualifications

• NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program completed at an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing and arterial gases.
• Administers medications safely and monitors patient response.
• Documents care accurately and communicates progress with team.
• Maintains equipment, monitors supplies, and ensures patient safety.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and staff development.
• May float to other departments as needed and be placed on-call.
• Promotes Respiratory Care as a resource and mentor to staff.
