Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. This night-shift role covers 36 hours per week with an 18% night differential and a $3/hour weekend differential.

The position emphasizes independent respiratory care and diagnostic testing in a high-quality care setting. The ideal candidate will have NBRC RRT certification, an associate/technical degree, Arizona licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC RRT certification required or obtained.
• Current state license to practice respiratory care.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and adjust settings as needed.
• Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory care equipment and circuitry.
• Conduct pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing per protocol.
• Assess patients and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Document therapy accurately and timely in patient records.
• Coordinate with nursing and other staff to implement care plans.
