Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center, a 353-bed acute care hospital in west Phoenix, seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for full-time day shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly). You will provide respiratory care, diagnostic testing, and ventilator support across high-acuity cases, contributing to 24/7 service and the Vascular Access Team.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree is required.
• NBRC certification as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Current license in state practiced as required by state law.
• Banner Registry positions require a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing.
• Manage ventilators and adjust settings in collaboration with physicians.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment per policies.
• Perform patient assessments and document therapy accurately.
• Coordinate with care team to adjust treatment plans as patient condition changes.
