Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for full-time night shift. You will perform comprehensive sleep studies, analyze data, and support patients throughout their diagnostic and therapeutic journey within a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications

• RPSGT credential required for the role.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per AASM standards.
• Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies including CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night, and MSLT.
• Monitor patients and respond to sleep-related events.
• Score studies and generate reports per AASM guidelines.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Document procedures and observations in EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
