Mercy Washington in Washington, MO is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the night shift. You will perform overnight sleep studies, monitor patients, and ensure high standards of care in a calm, confidential setting.

This role requires an RPSGT, BLS, and a high school diploma; preferred is graduation from a polysomnography program. Mercy offers night shift differentials, benefits from day one, tuition reimbursement, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Required: BLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards.
• Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence.
• Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document all care in the EMR.
