Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the night shift. You will conduct overnight sleep studies, calibrate equipment, monitor patients, and document care in the EMR while collaborating with a tight-knit overnight team.

Ideal candidates are RPSGT-certified, with BLS and a high school diploma or equivalent, and enjoy a calm, low-traffic overnight environment that supports independence and professional growth.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
Required: BLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and MSLT.
Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with standards.
Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events.
Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports.
Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
Document all care in the EMR.
