Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift. You will conduct overnight sleep studies, score data, and report findings under physician direction while educating patients on PAP therapy and safety.

You’ll calibrate equipment, apply electrodes to AASM standards, document procedures in the EMR, and participate in quality improvement with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
• Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies including CPAP/BiPAP titrations, split-night studies, and MSLT.
• Monitor patients and respond to events and emergencies during studies.
• Score sleep studies and generate reports per AASM guidelines.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders, PAP therapy, and equipment usage.
• Document procedures and observations in the EMR and participate in quality improvement.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program
